From humble beginnings to global significance
After leading multi-regional teams at Total Energy and BP, as well as managing various businesses in the South African energy sector, Brett Pritchard founded Cometa. Following the successful completion of numerous projects across South Africa, we acquired our first export offtake with an international blue-chip client.
From there, the company expanded its scope rapidly — establishing headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and refocusing the South African division on logistics and procurement. Today, Cometa operates across three continents, but our roots in South Africa remain at the heart of everything we do.
